Mr. Ashish V. Suvarnkar holds a B.Optometry and M.Optometry degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, and post-graduated in 2009. He has extensive teaching experience in the field of optometry, having served in various full-time roles as a lecturer, senior lecturer, & Assistant Professor at institutions such as Hari Jyot College of Optometry, Bharati Vidyapeeth School Of Optometry, Dr D.Y. Patil Institute of Optometry & Visual Sciences, Pune. He has been a visiting faculty member at Laxmi School of Optometry, Panvel & Pravara Optometry College, Loni. He also has contributed as a member of the Board of Studies He specialises in subjects such as Visual Optics, Dispensing Optics, Ophthalmic Optics, & Contact Lenses. 

Currently, he is an Assistant Professor & Postgraduate teacher at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Optometry & Visual Sciences, Pimpri, where he teaches advanced topics in Dispensing Optics. He has vast experience in the Optical Industry & knows the products and technologies of various Ophthalmic lens companies. 

Mr Ashish Suvarnkar has also presented at notable conferences, including the 8th E. Vaithilingam Memorial Scientific Session at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai and the 7th Asia Cornea & Contact Lens Conference in the Philippines and Super Speciality Lens Symposium, Mumbai, focusing on the effects of corneal collagen cross-linking procedure in keratoconus patients. 

He had been invited to various Private, Deemed & Govt. universities in Maharashtra & Gujarat for Bachelor & Masters Optometry student assessment. Over the entire period of his academic career, he has guided many students to complete their study projects. He has helped many students to spark & develop their research interests.
