Dr. Harinath Mukherjee is a distinguished ophthalmologist who has made significant contributions to the field of eye care. With an MBBS, a Diploma in Ophthalmology and a Master's of Surgery (Ophthalmology), he has honed his expertise in ophthalmology, providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Mukherjee is known for his dedication to his profession and often consults at well-known eye care establishments. 

In his early career, he served the West Bengal Health Service as an Ophthalmologist in different rural eye hospitals. Later, he served different state general hospitals as an eye surgeon and retired from service in 2013. His commitment to his work and his patients is evident in his meticulous attention to each case, ensuring that his patients receive the best possible care. 

Throughout his timeline, Dr Mukherjee has been a great teacher he was associated with various medical colleges like The Kolkata Medical College as a distinguished faculty of Ophthalmology and Eye Surgeon. He was associated with the Ramakrishna Mission and various other organisations for the motif of giving back to society.  He was the Co-Founder and Chairman of Dr Ashok Kumar Banerjee Charitable Foundation.
